My infatuation with mobile food trucks has continued! Needless to say, during a night out in Westport I stumbled upon El Pueblito, a Mexican food truck serving tacos until 4 a.m.
Preparing delicious food to an inebriated, hungry crowd of bar goers is no easy task. I was impressed with the skill and quickness of the two-man team that ran the El Pueblito food truck. I was even more impressed when I stepped up to the window and realized the man taking orders was a boy!
This little guy was fantastic!
I ordered the beef tacos with the hard shell.
Soooo good. The beef is what made this taco...perfectly seasoned and greasy. The tomatos were fresh and the salsa was homemade. When you're accustomed to eating Taco Bell after a few beers these tacos taste like heaven in comparison.
There are two options when ordering your tacos at El Pueblito. I ordered the regular taco, but my boyfriend, Johnny, ordered the authentic chicken tacos.
Cilantro, perfectly seasoned chicken, onions, lettuce, and pico de gallo...the gangs all here!
If you have a taco craving at 4 a.m. this weekend, I highly reccommend El Pueblito's taco truck. You'll get a kick out of the little boy taking orders.
